fear of reality

So, I am really amazed at with all our social media, virtual worlds and generally great ways to keep in touch with each other, people do not still communicate. I mean sure a little text here saying hi how are you. But no serious communication. I have e-mail numerous people over the last couple of weeks and am amazed at how people do not respond. Granted they may not want to talk to me...I will entertain that thought. In all honesty I just think it is people are afraid to engage. I think people feel that when you e-mail someone or post to their social media just to say hi there is some alternative motive. So maybe social media has created a bunch of paranoid people who are afraid of relationships, or I think the real thing would be people have always been afraid of relationship and social media has just enhanced their ability to hide in the smoke and mirrors of how they wish to create themselves.
I am not attacking the means of communication I am wanting to bring to light an issue, an issue of fear of humanity an issue of fear of reality.

Book

So I have been researching the challenge of ethics in virtual worlds and then looking at how I should view this in a Christian World view. I spent $45.oo dollars on an ethics book about virtual worlds and was sadly disappointed with the information presented in the book. Not to mention I question the publishers ethics in charging $45.00 for a paperback book and I thought to myself I should write this book. So I have a report that is due in my class and I think I will use it to launch my idea of a new book.
